At The Yard Gym, our programming is built on four fundamental training principles: progression, overload, specificity, and individualization. Our system balances variety and structure, giving our members the freedom to train in different ways, while maintaining consistency in effort and outcomes.
Our core classes, RIG and TURF, work hand-in-hand blending strength and endurance to help you build a strong, capable body. Supporting these are our signature sessions of PAYDAY and GAMEDAY—hybrid workouts that fuel friendly competition and create a powerful sense of community within the gym.

There's plenty of free parking available within the estate, including electric car chargers. We're also located just off the main road, offering easy and safe access. Bus stops are 150m, 500m, and 700m away. You can also catch the world’s first solar train from across the road. Ballina airport and the Gold Coast International airport are also within a reasonable driving distance. Plus, we're only a stroll to the surf and a 10-minute bike ride into town!
Our team has very diverse backgrounds and knowledge (Pilates, CrossFit, rehab, personal training qualifications, etc.), bringing a unique flair and different strengths. We are detail-oriented, catering to everyone's individual needs and going the extra mile to make every person feel seen and noticed. We pride ourselves on ensuring our members feel genuine care as individuals. We have the ability to challenge our members while showing compassion and kindness.
Being in a holiday destination like Byron Bay, known for its laid-back lifestyle and deeply rooted wellness culture, the complex we're in fosters a great community. People hang around, get coffee after class, and there's just a special energy here. We offer a Run Club and Pilates.

A seamless 45 minutes of shaping and toning with qualified instructors in a group setting. Our weekly Mat Pilates classes are the perfect addition to complement your strength and conditioning workouts.
RUN CLUB
Our community comes together one morning a week and smashes out a 30 minute run. Coffee is always on the cards afterwards.
